Freud · Flush trim and template bits
Freud 50-098 oversized-bearing template bit
1/4 in

When to choose it
The 50-098 uses a half-inch guide bearing and a smaller 5/16-inch cutter. It is suited to a jig designed around that difference, where the cut is intentionally offset from the guide edge.
The nominal radial difference is 3/32 inch. Confirm the exact jig requirements. For a same-plane trim, choose a model with equal cutter and bearing diameters, such as the 50-103.
