When to choose it

Choose the 3002 when your template sits at the shank end and a three-quarter-inch cutting section is sufficient. The half-inch cutter follows the reference through its shank-side bearing.

The 3004 has a longer one-inch cutting section with the same nominal shank and cut diameter. Compare the two according to the material thickness and reference placement.
