When to choose it

The UDFT2100 combines opposing spiral directions with a pilot at the tip for template-guided flush trimming. Its quarter-inch nominal cutter width is useful when comparing the clearance of a small inside curve.

The two bearings form one tip guide. Check that your template can contact that end. If you need a choice of reference sides, compare a design with bearings on opposite ends, such as the Freud 50-501.
